UAEV Announces New EV Charging Tariffs Starting January 2025

UAEV has confirmed that starting January 2025, new tariffs will be applied to its charging stations. DC chargers will be priced at Dh1.20 per kWh, plus VAT, while AC chargers will cost Dh0.70 per kWh, also plus VAT. These changes are part of a larger strategy to improve the scalability and sustainability of the UAE’s EV charging infrastructure.

This move follows a period of free charging since the tariffs were first introduced in May. The updated pricing aims to support the growth of the electric vehicle network while aligning with the UAE’s sustainability goals.

In addition to the app, UAEV is also launching a 24/7 call center to provide real-time assistance and ensure a smooth experience for EV drivers at any time.
