Al Fay Street Expansion
Cost: AED 1.5 billion
This project is a game-changer for residents near Dubai Sports City, JVC, Jumeirah Golf Estates, and more. It includes five major intersections and will boost capacity to 64,400 vehicles per hour. That’s a big win for the 600,000 people who use this road regularly.
Al Mustaqbal Street Development
Cost: Part of a AED 3.7 billion plan
Bridges and tunnels stretching 6.2 km will be built to increase traffic flow from 9,000 to 12,000 vehicles per hour. It’s part of a bigger plan to improve internal roads across the city.

Al Qudra Street Makeover
Cost: AED 798 million
This popular road is getting a serious speed boost. Travel time will drop from 9.4 minutes to just 2.8 minutes thanks to upgrades along key intersections including Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road.
Al Safa Street Revamp
A new project from Sheikh Zayed Road to Al Wasl Road will cut drive time from 20 minutes to just two for 358,000 residents. It’s all part of Dubai’s massive AED 16 billion traffic transformation plan for 2024 - 2027.
Bus Pooling
Forget rigid bus routes. RTA's new bus pooling service can hold up to 30 people and aims to reduce private car use in busy areas. It's all about flexibility and faster movement.

Dedicated Bus & Taxi Lanes
Coming between 2025 and 2027, these lanes will stretch 20.1 km across six major streets like Al Satwa and Naif. The goal? Smoother rides for public transport and faster commutes for everyone else.
Driverless Taxis & Cars
Dubai is getting ready to go hands-free. A new federal traffic law now allows more self-driving cars on the road. The emirate plans to launch 4,000 driverless taxis and make 25% of all transport autonomous by 2030.
Dubai Harbour Upgrade
Cost: AED 431 million
A new two-lane bridge from Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Harbour will reduce travel time from 12 to 3 minutes and handle up to 6,000 vehicles per hour. That means easier access to one of the city's most popular coastal spots.

Dubai Holding Partnership Projects
