UAE Workers, Private Schools Shift to Remote Setup on Tues

In response to unstable weather conditions prevailing across the UAE, all government employees have been instructed to work remotely. This decision, issued by the Council of Ministers, mandates remote work for government staff on Tuesday, April 16. The directive exempts certain federal employees whose roles necessitate their physical presence at their workplace. This exemption, however, considers the prevailing weather conditions in the country.

Private Sector Precautions

While government employees transition to remote work, private sector companies have been urged to take precautions, especially in outdoor work environments. Although operations may continue, employers are advised to consider suspending activities where feasible, ensuring the safety of their employees amidst adverse weather conditions.

Adjustments in Education

In Dubai, private schools are making adjustments to accommodate the weather-induced disruptions. Classes will commence slightly later than usual, with institutions offering flexibility in online learning schedules. Students will have the opportunity to take additional breaks between classes, allowing them time to log in to their online sessions without rushing.
