UAE to Send 300 Tons of Food to Gaza in Ramadan Aid Drive

The UAE will send 300 tons of food aid to Gaza over the next three days, providing essential support to Gazan families during Ramadan.
The first 100 tons of staple goods including flour and rice were sent off through Fujairah International Airport on Friday, Feb. 21.
Two more flights, each containing 100 tons of aid, will take off from Ras Al Khaimah on Saturday and Sunday.
The food aid is a combination of packaged food and cooking ingredients.
The food parcels will be delivered to Gaza about a week before Ramadan, which is expected to begin on Saturday, Mar. 1
The Fujairah Charity Association and the Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Humanitarian Foundation have collaborated with the UAE government to provide the food aid for Friday’s flight.
