The "UAE Stands with Lebanon" campaign saw a remarkable turnout on Sunday, as over 1,000 volunteers came together at Al Bustan Hall in Fujairah, collecting 100 tonnes of essential aid for those in need.

The relief supplies, including food and shelter equipment, were packed into 5,000 parcels to support Lebanese communities facing hardship.

The event was spearheaded by H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs, who also chairs the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council. His presence underscored the UAE’s dedication to humanitarian causes, with Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi and other notable figures from Fujairah also attending.

Organized by the Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs and the Fujairah Charity Association, the campaign was a powerful demonstration of the UAE’s commitment to aiding those in crisis.

Suhail Rashid Al Qadi, Director of the Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Foundation, emphasized that charitable values are deeply rooted in Emirati culture, instilled by the nation's founding leaders and upheld by the current leadership.

Several prominent charities participated in the effort, including the Emirates Red Crescent, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, and Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, showcasing a unified approach to humanitarian support.
