Black Raisins Juice

1 cup black raisins
4 cups water
3 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Ice cubes for serving

  1. Soak the Raisins

    Place the black raisins in a bowl and cover them with water. Let them sit for at least 4 to 6 hours, or even overnight, so they can soak up the water and get nice and plump.
  2. Blend the Raisins

    Once the raisins are soft, drain out the soaking water. Toss them into a blender with four cups of fresh water and blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Strain the Juice

    Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to separate the juice from any leftover pulp. Press down with a spoon to squeeze out every last drop.
  4. Sweeten the Juice

    Give the juice a quick taste—if you like it sweeter, stir in some honey or your favorite sweetener until it’s just right.
