Beef Mixture

500 grams ground beef
½ onion, grated
½ cup parsley, chopped
1 clove garlic, grated
½ tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp allspice or 7 spices
1 tbsp cooking oil
7 medium tortilla bread

Yogurt Sauce

3 cups plain yogurt
3 tbsp tahini
1 clove garlic, minced
½ lemon, juiced
Salt to taste

Garnish

Pomegranate molasses
Pomegranate seeds
Chopped parsley
  • Method & Directions of Beef Pinwheel Wraps

  1. Preheat the Oven

    First, preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Prepare the Beef Mixture

    In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, grated onion, chopped parsley, and grated garlic. Season with salt, pepper, allspice, and 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Spread the Beef Mixture on the Tortillas

    Scoop 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture and spread it evenly over a tortilla. Roll the tortilla tightly, then cut it vertically into equal-sized Pinwheel Wraps.
  4. Bake

    Arrange the beef Pinwheel Wraps on a baking sheet, brush them lightly with oil, and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Make the Yogurt Sauce

    In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic. Season with salt and mix well until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
  6. Prepare to Serve

    Spread a layer of yogurt sauce on a serving dish, then place the beef Pinwheel Wraps on top. Garnish with a drizzle of pomegranate molasses, pomegranate seeds, and some chopped parsley. Serve immediately to keep the wraps from getting soggy.
