A Greener Future for Mosques

As part of this initiative, around 10,000 trees will be planted in mosque courtyards across the country. This effort is designed to make these sacred spaces more sustainable while contributing to the country’s ongoing environmental goals.

Part of the 'Plant the Emirates' Program

The tree planting project is part of the larger "Plant the Emirates" program, which aims to boost the UAE's green initiatives. This effort pays tribute to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whose legacy in agriculture and humanitarian work continues to inspire the nation's environmental efforts.

With this initiative, the UAE is taking significant steps toward enhancing its natural landscape while honoring its heritage and commitment to sustainability.
