New Exit Opens to Ease Traffic Flow From Dubai To Al Ain

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has opened a new exit on Dubai-Al Ain Road at Exit 58 to reduce travel time for vehicles heading towards both Al Ain City and Dubai. This move is part of ongoing efforts to enhance traffic flow and improve road efficiency.

Better Traffic Flow for Dubai-Al Ain Road

The new exit is part of a broader series of improvements near the Al-Faqa area, addressing the increasing traffic in the region. The exit leads to the U-turn tunnel before Al-Faqa, helping drivers reach their destinations faster.

Hamad Al Shehhi, Director of Roads at RTA, highlighted the authority’s commitment to implementing smart traffic solutions. “RTA continues to enhance Dubai’s roads to ensure efficiency and safety. By adopting rapid and innovative traffic solutions, we support Dubai’s vision and reinforce its global infrastructure leadership,” he stated.

Key Enhancements for Smoother Traffic

To further improve traffic flow, RTA has introduced:

  • A 430-metre deceleration lane to allow vehicles to slow down smoothly before reaching Exit 58.
  • A new roundabout to enhance entry and exit from the existing tunnel and improve U-turn movements.
  • A 600-metre acceleration lane for vehicles exiting toward Al Ain, ensuring a seamless merge into the main road.

These upgrades are designed to enhance road safety and reduce accident risks, making travel between Dubai and Al Ain more efficient.

What This Means for Drivers

If you frequently travel on Dubai-Al Ain Road, you can expect a smoother and faster journey, especially near Al-Faqa. The new exit and additional lanes are aimed at minimizing congestion, making your commute safer and more convenient.

With Dubai continuously working on infrastructure improvements, drivers can look forward to even more upgrades in the future.
