New Greek Marvel Aims To Wow with Signature Meat Dishes

Dubai’s food scene is set to be transformed with the opening of Veranda, one of the city’s largest and most eagerly awaited Greek restaurants, conveniently located in Almas Tower, Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT).
The restaurant’s tagline, “Meat the Greeks”, reflects the vibrant culinary experience on offer, bringing the rich and robust of the Greek mainland to the heart of Dubai.
Conceptualized with a vision of sharing the owner’s family traditions and a deep love for Greek culture, Veranda promises to be an authentic yet elevated Greek dining destination, serving up signature meat dishes and celebrating the art of cooking with fire. The restaurant will feature an expansive outdoor terrace overlooking the lake with breathtaking views, an indoor restaurant space, a lounge area offering shisha, and a stunning bar with expert mixologists crafting Greek-inspired cocktails.
Veranda offers an unforgettable dining experience with a menu rooted in traditional Greek recipes from the mainland, including signature dishes like Feta Tyropita, Chicken Exohiko marinated in mustard orange juice, Spetsofai Pilliou, handmade sausage with Metzovone cheese, Veranda Moussaka, and a selection of grilled meats prepared using time-honoured techniques from Crete. One of the menu’s most notable features is the Lamb Antikristo, slow cooked over an olive wood fire with sea salt and Greek herbs, imparting a rich, intense flavour.

The restaurant's culinary offerings celebrate Greek heritage through carefully selected ingredients. The menu also boasts traditional Greek cheeses, handmade semolina pasta, and authentic pita bread, while the bar staff use fresh, pure local products to enhance the unique Greek-inspired cocktail menu. Veranda also ensures only grass-fed, steroid-free meat is used to create unforgettable flavours. Additionally, the restaurant operates with a zero-waste policy, ensuring sustainability in every step of their cooking and bar operations.

With a team of 17 chefs, including a talented Greek executive chef Antonis Melas who has worked in renowned establishments like Ammos, the culinary team is primed to bring the very best of Greece to Dubai. Chef Melas is a respected Greek cuisine ambassador, renowned for his passion and technique in preparing traditional dishes with exceptional authenticity, preserving the rich flavors and heritage of Greece in every meal.
