Madonna attracted a crowd of more than 1.6 million people to Copacabana beach on Saturday night, May 4th, for her free concert, which marked the final stop of her world tour. The 65-year-old singer turned the beach into a massive dance floor, performing classics such as “Like a Virgin” and “Like a Prayer,” with several costume changes and various set designs.

The city of Rio de Janeiro was abuzz with excitement ahead of the event, as fans gathered outside the Copacabana Palace hotel to catch a glimpse of the star. Some fans watched the performance from the beach, nearby apartments, hotels, and boats anchored offshore.
