K-Pop Singer and Astro Member Moonbin Dies at the Age of 25

K-pop star and member of the boy band Astro Moonbin died at the age of 25, his music label Fantagio announced.

The singer was found unresponsive in his apartment on Wednesday evening in Gangnam, Seoul, according to local media. 

Fantagio posted a statement on Twitter saying "On April 19, Astro member Moon Bin unexpectedly left our world and became a star in the sky."

However, no possible cause of death was provided in the statement and the music label has requested people from speculating and spreading rumours about the singer's death. 

The hashtag #moonbin was trending on Twitter globally with 3. 48 million tweets from fans mourning the death of Moonbin and paying tributes to him. 

Moon Bin, whose stage name was Moonbin,  debuted with the boy band Astro in 2016 and had been working with them since. He was also performing for a subgroup called Moonbin & Sanha.
