The ministry aims to increase the number of UAE citizens in skilled jobs by 1 percent at companies with over 50 employees.

Starting today, July 1, MoHRE will begin checking if companies have met their required Emiratisation targets. Businesses that fail to comply will face financial penalties. The ministry emphasized that it will closely monitor and enforce these targets to ensure compliance.
