Emirates Airline makes history by becoming the first-ever official airline of the NBA, solidifying its position further by securing the title sponsorship of the in-season tournament, now rebranded as the Emirates NBA Cup. This landmark multi-year deal not only marks an important partnership but also introduces a pioneering move – the placement of the Emirates logo on official NBA referee jerseys, a first in the league's history.

Under the multi-year agreement, Emirates will not only lend its name to the in-season tournament but will also prominently feature as the title partner. The co-branded Emirates NBA Cup event logo will be showcased globally, with promotional activities spanning the NBA’s extensive social media community and in-arena signage during the Emirates NBA Cup Semifinal and Championship games.

Jersey Placement and Global Presence

The Emirates logo's appearance on NBA referee jerseys commences with the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, underscoring the global airline's significant presence within the league. This strategic partnership also extends to marquee league events, including NBA Crossover and the NBA Finals Legacy Project, where Emirates will play a significant role in community initiatives.

In-Game Visibility and Virtual Signage

Emirates branding will feature prominently during nationally televised NBA games, starting with the 2024 NBA All-Star Game. This includes virtual in-arena signage and visibility on top of the backboard. The airline's engagement with NBA fans worldwide extends to preseason and regular-season NBA Global Games, as well as interactive fan events such as “NBA District” and “NBA House.”

Emirates enhances the fan experience by offering NBA content on all its flights through the inflight entertainment system.
