Dubai Ranks in Top 10 of Global Power City Index Again

For the second consecutive year, Dubai has been ranked first in the region and eighth globally in the prestigious Global Power City Index (GPCI) 2024. Issued by the Mori Memorial Foundation's Institute for Urban Strategies in Japan, this ranking highlights Dubai's strong position as a leading global city.

The announcement was shared by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on social media platform X. His Highness attributed the city's success to the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence.

In his post, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the key factors that contribute to Dubai’s high ranking, stating, "The city's remarkable performance in global indices has been driven by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed's visionary leadership and the commitment of its talented people and trusted partners." He went on to say, "Dubai's high ranking on global indices shows that we are not just keeping pace with the world, we are setting new benchmarks for excellence."
