Dubai’s favorite literary event, the Big Bad Wolf book sale, is back for its sixth season, running from November 29 to December 9 at Sound Stages in Dubai Studio City.

Renowned as the “world’s greatest book sale,” this year’s edition promises unbeatable prices, with books starting at just Dh1.99 on the opening day.

Coinciding with the region’s “Orange Friday” sales on November 29, co-founder Andrew Yap described the launch day as “a celebration of the joy of reading,” emphasizing the sale’s dedication to affordability. “We want readers from all walks of life to discover our expansive collection and reignite their love for books,” Yap added.

This year’s event boasts the largest-ever selection of titles, with a special emphasis on sustainability and inclusivity through literature. The collection reflects themes inspired by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), covering topics such as quality education, gender equality, climate action, and well-being.

A standout feature of this season is the inclusion of over 50,000 Arabic titles, curated in collaboration with key cultural entities like the Sharjah Book Authority, Kalimat, and Menassah. “Our collaboration underscores our mission to make meaningful literature accessible to all,” said Mohamed Noor Hersi, Board Member of Big Bad Wolf Sharjah.

From Arabic classics to global bestsellers, the Big Bad Wolf book sale offers something for every reader. With discounts across thousands of genres and themes, the event is a must-visit for book lovers in the UAE.
