Award-winning Food Chain From Global Village Opens Up in Abu Dhabi

Chiki, an award-winning restaurant from Global Village, today launched its new store in Abu Dhabi in Al Niqah Street. Emirati-owned, the home-grown brand is set to offer a range of conceptual food to residents of the capital, as it continues to venture out of Global Village.

Labeling itself as ‘The Home of Fried Chicken’, Chiki is famous for serving a wholesome chicken burger in toasted sandwich bread, and first gained recognition in becoming the most ‘trending’ concepts at the attraction for quick ‘on-the go’ bites.

Having opened in Sharjah just last month, Chiki has focused on extending its menu to cater to local tastes. At the new location in Abu Dhabi, foodies can enjoy a mouth-watering menu hosting a chicken collection including the Chiki Signature Sandwich, The Chiki Spinach Sando, The Chiki Buffalo Burger, Chiki Cheese Poppers and a range of fries dipped in home-made signature Chiki sauces.

“The Chiki concept started off between 3 of us friends sharing a general love of fried chicken. We challenged ourselves to create an elevated fried chicken experience combining the best parts of a burger and a sandwich,” said Jassem Al Yassi, Founder, Chiki UAE.
