Abu Dhabi's IVF Success Rate Ranks Among the Best Globally

Abu Dhabi has earned international recognition for its high success rates in in vitro fertilization (IVF), making it one of the top destinations worldwide for fertility treatments. The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) reported a success rate of over 51% in IVF procedures, positioning the emirate as a leader in reproductive healthcare.
Impressive IVF Success Rates
In 2024, 695 childbirths were recorded through IVF in Abu Dhabi’s specialized healthcare centers. This achievement highlights the emirate's growing reputation for offering effective fertility solutions to individuals and couples struggling with infertility.
Addressing Global Infertility Challenges
Infertility affects 17.5% of the global adult population, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), with one in six adults facing difficulties in conceiving. Assisted reproductive treatments (ART) have become an essential solution for many, and Abu Dhabi is playing a key role in addressing this global health issue.
Growing Fertility Services in Abu Dhabi
The emirate currently has 14 licensed healthcare facilities offering assisted reproductive services, including two new centers that opened in 2024. In addition to these, Abu Dhabi is home to 45 maternal and delivery facilities, supported by over 2,800 healthcare professionals, including 700 specialists and consultants and 375 midwives.
