What are Emergency Medical Teams?

Emergency Medical Teams (EMTs) consist of skilled healthcare professionals organized by the WHO. They play an important role in providing life-saving medical care during crises such as natural disasters, disease outbreaks, and conflicts.

This year’s meeting will focus on reviewing achievements based on the WHO’s strategy for EMTs, fostering collaboration, and exchanging valuable knowledge and research among participants.

It aims to ensure that health systems worldwide are prepared for emergencies.
