UAE Strongly Condemns The Burning of Churches and Homes in Pakistan

The UAE strongly condemned the violence that took place in Pakistan through the burning of a number of churches and several homes by extremists.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially praised the Pakistani government for its wisdom showcased in the measures it took in confronting these violence and abusive acts.

The Ministry assured that the UAE permanently rejects all practices which aim to threaten security and stability and contradict human, moral values ​​and principles.

The Ministry added that hate speech and terrorism are incompatible with international efforts which focus on spreading the values of tolerance, coexistence, and among nations.

The ministry shed light on the importance of respecting religious symbols and sanctities and avoiding incitement and polarization, at a time when the world needs to collaborate and unite to support global principles of tolerance and peaceful coexistence, which should be supported and implemented to achieve stability and sustainable development.
