UAE Athlete Ranks 5th in T34 100m Wheelchair Final
Mohammed Othman clocked in 15.40 seconds at the 2024 Paris Paralympics.

UAE's Mohammed Othman ranked fifth in the men's T34 100m wheelchair final at the 2024 Paris Paralympics on Monday, Sep. 2.
The 20-year-old athlete clocked in 15.40 seconds, finishing fifth in the final. In Heat 1 on Sunday, Othman clocked in 15.77 seconds and he had to wait for his results from Heat 2 before securing his position in Monday's final.
In the men's T34 100m wheelchair final, Thailand's Chaiwat Rattana secured the gold medal in a new Paralympic record time of 14.76 seconds.

Tunisia's multiple Paralympic medal winner and the 100m world record holder Walid Ktila received a silver medal with 15.14 seconds.
Canada's Austin Smeenk secured a bronze medal with a time of 15.19 seconds.
