T20 World Cup 2024: India Wins Against Pakistan by Six Runs!

India won the group stage match against Pakistan by six runs on Sunday, Jun. 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, US.

India batted first and scored 119 runs in 19 overs as Pakistan's Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf took three wickets each.

Mohammed Amir took two wickets while Shaheen Shah Afridi took one wicket respectively. 

Rishabh Pant scored 42 runs, while the other batsmen could not score significantly.

It seemed Pakistan could win the match when they scored 73 runs in 12.1 overs, however, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya saved the day for India. 

Bumrah secured three wickets, giving 14 runs, while Pandua secured 2 wickets, giving 24 runs. Their pace led Pakistan to score only 113 runs with seven wickets in 20 overs.

Pakistan's next match is with Canada on Tuesday, Jun. 11 and India's next game is scheduled with the US on Wednesday, Jun. 12.
