These easy Puff Pastry Cinnamon Rolls use puff pastry instead of regular yeast dough for quick, easy cinnamon rolls that taste absolutely delicious!

Puff Pastry Cinnamon Rolls

1½ tbsp ground cinnamon
3 tbsp sugar
320g ready-rolled puff pastry
plain flour, for dusting
1 medium egg, beaten
50g icing sugar

  1. Heat the oven

    Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a large baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Mix

    Stir the cinnamon and sugar together in a small bowl. Unwrap the puff pastry on a lightly floured work surface, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Gently add the cinnamon-sugar mixture into the back of a spoon so that it almost completely covers the dough. Brush a little beaten egg on the exposed pastry border.
  3. Roll and Arrange

    Roll the dough into a narrow log from the short side without borders. Gently press along the egg-washed edge to seal, then cut into 12 equal rounds. Arrange the cinnamon rolls on the prepared baking sheet, placing them opposite each other. Brush the remaining beaten egg over the top and sides of the pastry.
  4. Bake

    Bake for 15-18 minutes, until golden and risen. Leave to cool on the tray for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Combine and Serve

    Mix the icing sugar with 1 1/2 teaspoons of water in a small bowl until you have a thick creamy frosting. Drizzle this over warm rolls, serve immediately and enjoy!
