One-pot recipes make life easier – not only during Ramadan, but throughout the year as well. They require less dishes, thus less cleaning. And they can be ready within less than an hour. This One-pot creamy chicken pasta is one of those easy and quick recipes that is heartwarming and flavorful.

  • Ingredients of One-Pot Creamy Chicken Pasta

Creamy Chicken Pasta

2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, crushed
1 small red onion, chopped
2 boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cubed
1 tsp salt
½ pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp onion powder
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
2 cups cooked pasta
1 bag frozen broccoli
  • Method & Directions of One-Pot Creamy Chicken Pasta

  1. Cook the Chicken

    In a large nonstick pan, melt butter with olive oil then sauté garlic and chopped red onion. When translucent, add the chicken and season with salt, pepper, paprika, Cajun seasoning, and onion powder. Mix well.
  2. Make the Sauce

    When the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, add heavy cream, and grated parmesan cheese and mix well. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add in the Pasta

    Combine 2 cups of boiled pasta (any kind you like) with the creamy chicken. Add ½ cup of pasta water and mix well. Let bubble for a few minutes.
  4. Make it Healthier

    Throw in a bag of frozen broccoli and mix with the pasta. This step is optional, but it will add more flavor to your one-pot pasta.
