The Jais Sledder, a crowd-favorite mountain ride in Ras Al Khaimah, has been temporarily shut down. A representative from Jais Adventure Park confirmed the closure, but no specific reopening date has been provided.

Possible Maintenance Work

The Jais Sledder, known as the longest toboggan ride in the region, has been out of service for about a week. While the exact reason for the closure remains unclear, the park’s call center suggested that routine maintenance could be the cause.

A Thrill-Seeker’s Favorite

Located in the adventure-packed Jebel Jais complex, the sledder has been a hit since its debut in 2022. Offering adrenaline-pumping rides down the Hajjar mountains at speeds of up to 40km/h, it provides breathtaking views of rugged terrain and the coastline. Tickets for the experience were priced at AED 50 for adults and AED 65 for an adult with a child.

Updates from the Park

A notice on the official Jais Adventure Park website states, "Please note that the Jais Sledder is currently closed, and we thank you for your understanding and patience." Google listings for the attraction also reflect its temporary closure status.

Other Adventures Still Open

Despite the sledder’s downtime, Jebel Jais continues to offer other thrilling activities, including hiking trails and the world’s longest zipline.
