NASA Images Show Moon Crash Site of Lunar Carrying UAE's Rashid Rover

NASA has released images of the location on the Moon, where spacecraft HAKUTO-R Mission 1 Lunar Lander carrying UAE's Rashid Rover crashed last month.

The space agency released photos showing before and after the landing attempt, showing anomalies on the surface. 

The photos show large pieces of debris scattered across the moon's surface. 

NASA pointed out at least four pieces of debris that can be seen in the images.

The photo, shared by NASA, shows the lander which carried aboard the Rashid Rover.

Last month, Japan-based ispace said its spacecraft HAKUTO-R Mission 1 made a hard landing on the lunar surface. 

The lander crashed after losing communication with the mission control centre (MCC). 

Despite this experience, ispace is still the first private company to pull off a lunar landing.
