'Now You See Me 3' Brings Abu Dhabi to the Big Screen

Abu Dhabi is stepping into the global movie spotlight in Now You See Me: Now You Don’t — the third chapter in the hit heist franchise — and it’s nothing short of cinematic magic.

The action-packed trailer reveals adrenaline-pumping scenes across the capital, with sleek Formula 1 car chases tearing through Sheikh Zayed Bridge, slick shots of W Abu Dhabi and Yas Marina Circuit, and moody, artsy sequences at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Basically, it’s a high-stakes illusion act — but make it luxury.

The UAE capital was transformed into a high-octane movie set in just 13 days, thanks to the collaboration between Creative Media Authority, Abu Dhabi Film Commission, and Miral — proving that when it comes to blockbuster filmmaking, the emirate doesn’t play around.

Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the film stars a stacked cast, including Dave Franco, Daniel Radcliffe, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, and Morgan Freeman, blending magic, mayhem, and mystery with some serious Gulf glamour.

As Abu Dhabi continues to attract major Hollywood productions, this high-profile appearance in Now You See Me 3 further cements its status as the Middle East’s rising film capital — one illusion at a time.
