Expo City's Winter Wonderland Returns This December

The winter wonderland at Expo City Dubai is returning to Expo City Dubai from Friday, December 8th, 2023 to Sunday, January 7th, 2024.

Entry into the winter wonderland is completely free, with some activities and workshops ticketed. 

However, Expo City hasn't revealed all the festive surprises just yet.

In 2022's Winter City, the Mobility District, and Al Wasl Plaza were transformed into a magical land, lined with a traditional, chalet-style Christmas market, pine trees, and fun fairground games, featuring a towering tree and a letter-to-Santa station.

The winter wonderland also featured jumping, sliding, climbing and zip-lining pursuits, as well as gingerbread, wreath and ornament-making workshops; a toy factory that customizes teddy bears; and a Santa’s Grotto.

Other highlights at Al Wasl included a dazzling ceremony that brought to life Winter City’s 'White Christmas' with the lighting up of the jaw-dropping 52-foot tree; the second edition of Expo 2020’s popular Mrs Claus Christmas Show; a first-of-its-kind Carols by Candlelight; and nightly projection shows.
