Eid Al Adha is a significant traditional Muslim celebration that involves sacrificing animals like cows and lambs in the name of God. Part of the Eid is seeing family, friends, loved ones, and feasting on the most wholesome of foods with one another. The start date for this ceremony depends on the Islamic lunar calendar and moon sights. It is, however, is expected to be celebrated on June 15 until 20.

Muslims in the UAE are expected to gather at mosques early in the morning to pray together for Eid Al Adha. Following are the timings for the special Eid Al Adha prayer in the UAE:

  • Abu Dhabi: 5:57 am
  • Dubai: 5:52 am
  • Sharjah: 5:51 am
  • Ajman: 5:51 am
  • Umm Al Quwain: 5:50 am
  • Fujairah: 5:48 am
  • Ras Al Khaimah: 5:48am
