Abu Dhabi Launches Virtual Reality YAS Island Tours

Yas Island virtual reality tours have been made available by Abu Dhabi utilizing Roblox technology.

Virtual visitors from across the world will be able to experience Yas Island's attractions as well as race cars, ride rollercoasters, and visit some of Abu Dhabi's top cultural destinations - all without leaving their homes.

The program is part of a groundbreaking cooperation between the Abu Dhabi Department Of Culture And Tourism (DCT), Aldar, Miral, twofour54, and Ethara (previously Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management and Flash Entertainment).

The virtual Yas Island experience was created by Super League and debuted on the leading platform Roblox, which can be found at Yas Island Tycoon - Roblox.

The digital avatars of users go across prominent Abu Dhabi landmarks on Yas Island and beyond, including:

• SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi
• Yas Marina Circuit
• Etihad Park
• Aldar Square
• twofour54’s Yas Creative Hub
• An Experience Abu Dhabi dedicated area featuring Louvre Abu Dhabi, Mamsha Al Saadiyat, Sir Bani Yas Island, Al Ain Oasis and Al Jahili Fort.

Players will be able to explore the 25-square-kilometer virtual location and immerse themselves in a playable, socially engaging world designed to entertain and inform audiences worldwide.

Players can explore and construct cultural and entertainment attractions within the city through a variety of interactive experiences, immersive surroundings, games, and soon-to-be unique events.
