A Volunteer’s How-To Aid Lebanon Guide

The International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Affairs Council has officially launched the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' campaign to provide aid and relief to the people of Lebanon who have been affected by the ongoing armed conflict. The campaign is a joint effort to bring the UAE community together and offer crucial support during this difficult time.

How the Campaign Works

The campaign aims to collect donations from the public, in collaboration with various humanitarian and charitable organizations across the UAE. The focus will be on raising both cash donations and in-kind assistance to help the Lebanese people rebuild their lives.

To make it easy for everyone to contribute, relief package collection and packing events are scheduled at the following locations and times:

1. Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm - at the Dubai Exhibition Center in Expo City Dubai.
2. Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm - at the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, Abu Dhabi Ports (Terminal 1).

These events will allow volunteers and donors to come together, pack essential relief items, and show solidarity with Lebanon.

Volunteers and Community Involvement

A large and diverse group of volunteers, representing different nationalities and communities within the UAE, will be taking part in this initiative. The campaign is organized in coordination with the Emirates Foundation’s Volunteers Platform and other volunteer platforms throughout the country. So, here's how you can donate: 

Cash Donations:

Cash contributions can be made easily through the bank accounts of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, or online via their website and smart apps. Official associations operating across the UAE will also accept donations.

In-Kind Donations:

For those wishing to contribute in-kind assistance, such as clothing, food, or other essentials, donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

• ERC warehouses in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi.
• Warehouses in Dubai Humanitarian City.
• ERC offices located in various regions across the UAE.
