Shiva Temple in Bur Dubai

The Shiva temple is one of the two Hindu temples in Bur Dubai, the name is derived from a goddess in their religion called Shiva aka the “Auspicious One” or the destroyer, and is said to have around 1008 names, this temple is located on the top floor, and in this temple, one of the most celebrated events is called Shiv Ratri where they honor lord Shiva.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church is known to be the most famous church in Dubai, it was established by Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum back in 1966, and it is one of the largest Catholic Parishes in the world, as well as one of the oldest in the region.
