I was flipping through the For Sale ads of a local paper when I spied a tiny advertisement for “Jute Boxes.” Could they mean “Jukeboxes?” I dialled the number with an expectation of disappointment.
“Hello,” an elderly voice answered.
“Hi, I’m calling about your ad for jukeboxes. It says ‘Jute Boxes’ but I’m guessing that’s a typo?”
There was a long pause on the other end of the line followed by the sharp intake
