Was Metro Boomin's Concert at BRED Abu Dhabi Worth It?

BRED 2024 in Abu Dhabi was promised to be everything music lovers could have dreamed of, but a fan online could only share his disappointment in attending the event. 

The netizen took to Reddit and wrote a detailed post about his experience attending BRED 2024 for American producer Metro Boomin and rapper Offset on Friday night, Apr. 26.

The Reddit user wrote, "I bought tickets about three months ago, all excited to catch Metro Boomin live. But when we arrived, instead of the general admission passes we paid for, they slapped us with day passes."

And from then on it just got worse because after the netizen and their companions made it to the general area of the festival, they were still not allowed to enter because, instead of day passes, the bouncers at the entrance were looking for color bands. 

It might seem like a minor technical issue, but the person and their friends were not allowed access to the general area completely because of this malfunction, leaving them stuck outside the venue with nothing to do. 

They could have just left altogether, but waiting three months to see their favorite music artist perform live made these individuals wait it out and hope for the best.

However, the bouncers rained on their parade people by announcing the concert was cancelled!

The netizen wrote, "No explanation, no refunds, just a lousy apology. Hours wasted, money down the drain, and nothing to show for it."

Although, the concert did end up happening later on and BRED Abu Dhabi shared various videos of Metro Boomin and Offset setting the stage on fire, some fans like this Reddit user could not enjoy the stars' live performances.

BRED Abu Dhabi has limited comments on its Instagram page, which does not make them look good. 

Other netizens also shared similar experiences on Reddit. One user said, "Waited in a line for 2 hours & ended up just going home because the line didn't move."

These fan experiences emphasize that event organizers need to up their game in event management and treat their customers fairly because these fans have paid for the event, so they have the right to be given what they came for, which is seeing their favorite stars perform live!
