UAE to Restore Water Networks in Northern Gaza

The UAE has started work on restoring the water networks in northern Gaza that were destroyed because of the ongoing war in the region.

The project is part of the ongoing project Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which will deliver water to densely populated areas, cut down pollution, and improve the conditions of Gaza's environment. 

Various water facilities have been damaged because of the ongoing Israeli war in Gaza including 60 wells, desalination plants, and main water networks, which have led to a severe water shortage and water contamination.

This project comes after a recent scheme to repair wells and water tanks in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. 

The UAE has also built six desalination plants in Rafah, Egypt, which have a total capacity of 1.2 gallons per day, supplying water to more than 600,000 people in Gaza.
