The demand for Umrah in the United Arab Emirates has seen an impressive surge in recent months. Bookings for the pilgrimage in October and November soared by more than 150% compared to the summer months, and experts expect the trend to continue into December, as the end-of-year holidays approach.

"When winter arrives, many residents plan their spiritual journey due to the cooler weather. The numbers are significantly lower during the summer months," explained Shihab Parwad, a representative of Rehan Al Jazeera Tourism.

Given the increase in demand, travel agencies are urging those interested in performing Umrah to book their packages in advance. The end of the year, especially during the early and late December holidays, is expected to see even higher demand.

"Umrah is not only a religious obligation but also a profound spiritual experience, regarded by many as one of the most memorable moments of their lives. Planning the journey in advance guarantees that participants make the most of this special period," added Parwad.

A standard package typically costs between $800 and $1,200, while luxury options can be priced higher, often double the cost of basic packages.
