UAE and Armenia Agree to Visa-Free Travel

The United Arab Emirates and Armenia have agreed to waive visa requirements for citizens of both countries. This means that UAE and Armenian citizens can travel to each other's countries without a visa, provided they have a valid passport. The agreement is expected to boost tourism and trade between the two countries.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Vahan Kostanyan, announced on Twitter that the visa regime between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been lifted. The agreement was signed during the official visit of Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to the UAE.

The agreement allows citizens of both countries to travel to each other's countries without a visa. This is a significant development that is expected to boost tourism and trade between the two countries.

More than 40 nationalities can already travel to Armenia visa-free, including those from the UAE. This means that citizens of the UAE can now travel to Armenia without having to apply for a visa in advance. They can simply show their valid passport at the border and be granted entry.

UAE citizens can now stay in Armenia for up to 180 days in a year without a visa. Previously, only UAE citizens with diplomatic passports were eligible for visa-free travel to Armenia. However, Armenian citizens still need a visa to enter the UAE.
