Syrian Consulate in Dubai Pauses Passport Services

The Syrian Consulate in Dubai has announced a temporary suspension of its passport issuance and renewal services. This decision was made due to a disruption in its connection with the central passport system in Damascus, according to a recent social media update.

Other Consular Services Unaffected  

Despite the pause in passport-related services, the consulate clarified that all other consular transactions are being processed as usual. This includes documentation, certifications, and other non-passport-related requests.

The consulate assured the public that updates regarding the resumption of passport issuance and renewal will be promptly shared through its official social media channels once the system is operational again.
