  • March 19, 2025: Sheikh Tahnoon met with U.S. President Donald Trump during a dinner at the White House, attended by senior U.S. officials. ​

Strategic Agreements:

  • Energy Sector: A 50:50 joint venture was announced between Abu Dhabi's holding company ADQ and Energy Capital Partners (ECP), the largest private owner of power generation and renewables in the U.S. This partnership aims to invest US$25 billion in new energy projects. ​

  • Digital Infrastructure: The Abu Dhabi Department of Government Enablement signed an agreement with Microsoft and Core42, a subsidiary of G42 specializing in sovereign cloud, AI, and digital services. This collaboration involves implementing a joint sovereign cloud system to enhance government service efficiency and develop new digital solutions. ​
