Sharjah to Enforce Paid Parking in Al Dhaid City in 2025

Starting January 1, 2025, Sharjah Municipality will introduce paid parking in Al Dhaid City. The new system will enforce parking fees from Saturday to Thursday, between 8 AM and 10 PM. However, parking will remain free on Fridays, except in designated areas where charges will apply every day, including weekends and public holidays.

Blue Signboards to Mark Paid Zones

To help motorists identify paid parking zones, blue signboards will be installed across the city. These signs will indicate areas where parking fees are applicable, even on public holidays and weekends.

A Step Towards Better Urban Management

This move aligns with Sharjah Municipality’s broader goals to enhance urban infrastructure and optimize the use of public spaces. By implementing paid parking, authorities aim to streamline traffic and ensure better availability of parking slots.

Extended Paid Parking Hours in Sharjah

This development follows the municipality’s recent changes to parking hours in Sharjah’s seven-day zones. From November 1, parking fees in these zones have been extended to 16 hours daily, from 8 AM to midnight. Previously, charges were only applicable until 10 PM.

Clear Markings for Motorists

In Sharjah, paid parking zones are typically marked with blue and white curb lines, along with detailed signage explaining fees and timings. These measures ensure clarity for drivers and help maintain order in busy urban areas.
