Ring in the New Year with a day off! The Sharjah Department of Human Resources has officially declared Wednesday, January 1, 2025, as a public holiday for government employees in celebration of New Year’s Day.

All government offices will remain closed on the holiday and resume operations on Thursday, January 2. For those working in shifts, alternate schedules may apply as per departmental requirements.
