Dubai, United Arab Emirates – April 2025: Savour a weekend feast like no other as Thiptara unveils its newest Saturday Thai Brunch – From Siam to Isaan: A Festival of Thai Flavours. Set against the tranquil waters of Burj Lake and the mesmerizing Dubai Fountain, the vibrant new experience invites guests on a culinary voyage through Thailand, bringing the bold, authentic tastes of bustling street markets and royal kitchens straight to the heart of Downtown Dubai.
Launching on Saturday, 12th April, and continuing every Saturday from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, the brunch offers a relaxed yet elegant afternoon escape at one of the city’s most iconic dining destinations. With panoramic views, warm service, and a flavour-packed menu, Thiptara sets the perfect setting for an indulgent weekend culinary experience.
Curated by Thiptara’s expert culinary team, the brunch begins with a traditional Thai-style welcome featuring Naue Dat Die (dried beef with spicy sauce) and crispy Prawn Crackers. A vibrant selection of fresh salads is then tossed & served tableside, including Som Tam (green papaya salad), Yam Som-O (pomelo salad with roasted coconut, peanuts, tamarind, chilli and mint), Yum Nuea (spicy Thai beef salad with herbs), and Tam Taeng Kap Tua Lisong (cucumber and peanut salad with zesty chilli-lime dressing).
Guests can then savour an indulgent array of appetizers such as Khanom Pang Na Goong (golden shrimp toast with sweet chilli and lemongrass dip), Poom Nim Tho Grob (crispy Thai-style soft-shell crab), and the Bangkok Satay Platter (prawn and tofu skewers with peanut and tamarind sauces). The selection also includes regional specialities like Sai Ua (Chiang Mai-style sausage), Sai Krok Isan (Isaan chicken sausage), and Gai Yang (grilled chicken thigh with tamarind dipping sauce), while the soup course features Tom Saap (a rich Isaan-style chicken or beef broth infused with kaffir lime, lemongrass, and galangal).
From the grill, diners are served Pla Yang (banana leaf-wrapped grilled seabass fillet with Thai chilli sauce), served alongside classic Pad Thai (classic stir-fried Thai noodles in tamarind sauce) and Wok-Tossed Broccolini. Brunch-goers can also savour rich and fragrant Thai curries like, Gaeng Kiew Wan (green curry with chicken thigh, eggplant and sweet basil) and Massaman Neua (beef Massaman curry with warm spices and peanuts), both served with steamed Jasmine Rice.
To end on a sweet note, a decadent dessert spread includes Khanom Hwan Ruam Mit (assorted traditional Thai sweets), Gluey Horm Thod (crispy panko-fried banana with honey and coconut cream), Khao Niew Ma Muang (signature mango sticky rice with coconut sauce), and Phon La Mai Ruam (a selection of exotic seasonal fruits).
To complement the meal, guests can enjoy a selection of Thai-inspired cocktails such as Phuket Paradise, Thai Botanical Tea, and Elephant’s Kiss, alongside creative mocktails like Violet Hour and Old Souq, as well as a selection of grape, bubbly, hops, spirits, fresh juices, and soft drinks.
With its serene setting, front-row fountain views, and a thoughtfully curated menu celebrating the diversity of Thai cuisine, Thiptara’s Saturday Brunch promises to become a new favourite brunch-spot in Dubai’s weekend dining scene.
