Ramadan Recipe: Pumpkin "Blender" Flan

When it is Ramadan, we always tend to find easy recipes to make quickly with no hassle. This Pumpkin "Blender" flan is it! All you need is a blender, a cake mold, a baking tray, and aluminum foil. The surprise ingredient here is brioche buns blended with the rest of the ingredients and baked. Thus, giving you a pudding-like flan.

- 2 packs brioche buns (6 buns in total)
- 1 can pumpkin pie puree
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup cream
- ½ can condensed milk
- 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spices

- Preheat Your Oven
تم نسخ الرابطFirst, you must preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Blend Your Batter
تم نسخ الرابطPlace your brioche buns, pumpkin puree, eggs, cream, pumpkin spice, and condensed milk in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Place the Batter in a Mold
تم نسخ الرابطIn a cake mold greased with butter, pour in the batter. Even it out and cover it tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake Your Cake
تم نسخ الرابطPlace the covered cake mold in a baking tray and fill it with water halfway through. Bake your cake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Serve!
تم نسخ الرابطFlip your cake mold onto a serving plate and serve at chilled or at room temperature.
If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice, opt for cinnamon.
You can take your cake a step further by caramelizing some sugar and spreading it evenly into your cake mold before adding the batter.
Check the cake after 1 hour with a wooden toothpick. If it is still raw, carry on for 30 minutes.
