Method & Directions of Homemade Seafood Boil
-
- 40 Minutes
- Prepare the Boil
تم نسخ الرابطIn a large stockpot or Dutch oven (10 quarts or larger), bring water to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir in Cajun seasoning, seafood seasoning, and hot sauce to taste. Add sliced onions and lemon wedges, mix well, and let the mixture boil for 15 minutes.
- Add the Sausage & Potatoes
تم نسخ الرابطCarefully drop in the sausage rounds and baby potatoes, stirring to combine. Let them cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are almost fork-tender.
- Add the Seafood & Corn
تم نسخ الرابطGently place the snow crab clusters, shrimp, and corn into the pot, ensuring they are fully submerged. Stir well and continue boiling for another 5-7 minutes, until the shrimp turns pink. Meanwhile, prepare the garlic butter sauce.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
تم نسخ الرابطIn a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and stir in garlic, lemon juice, seafood seasoning, parsley, Creole Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and hot sauce to taste. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully combined. Remove from heat.
- Assemble the Cajun Seafood Boil
تم نسخ الرابطLine a large baking sheet with foil, parchment paper, or newspaper. Use a strainer to remove the seafood, sausage, potatoes, and corn from the pot, placing them onto the prepared sheet. Discard the onions and lemon wedges. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the seafood mixture and toss everything together to coat evenly.
- Serve & Enjoy
تم نسخ الرابطServe the Cajun seafood boil directly from the sheet for a fun, communal experience, or plate individually if preferred. Garnish with lemon wedges and enjoy every saucy, flavorful bite!
You can also add other seafood like clams, lobster tails, or calamari to customize your seafood boil to your taste.
