Beef

500 grams minced beef
1 onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, chopped
3 tbsp tomato paste
3 tomatoes, chopped
¼ fresh parsley, chopped
1 stock cube
1 tbsp seven spices
Salt and pepper to taste

Vegetables

1 large potato
1 large eggplant

Topping

1 box of bechamel sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese

  1. Grill the Vegetables

    Slice the potatoes and eggplants into circles, and arrange them on a baking sheet with a drizzle of oil, making sure they don’t overlap. Bake until cooked and golden.
  2. Cook the Meat

    In a large pan, sauté onions with salt, pepper, and half a tablespoon of seven spices until translucent. Add meat and cook through. Stir in garlic, the remaining spices, and a bit of oil. Add tomato paste, tomatoes, and parsley. Melt a stock cube in ½ cups of water, pour over the beef, and cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Assemble

    In a deep casserole dish, layer the cooked beef and top with the grilled vegetables. Pour the béchamel sauce over, covering everything. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and bake until golden brown.
