Dubai Chocolate Qatayef is a delicious twist on the traditional Ramadan treat, combining rich chocolate filling with the classic flavors of Qatayef. These sweet stuffed Qatayef are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and dipped in a luscious simple syrup for the perfect balance of sweetness. You can easily make them at home using homemade Qatayef dough and a few simple ingredients. Dubai Chocolate Qatayef

Plaint Qatayef
6 tbsp butter
4 cups shredded Kataifi dough
1 tbs tahini
½ cup pistachio butter
Simple syrup
Dark chocolate, melted to garnish
Chopped pistachios, to garnish

  1. Make the Qatayef Stuffing

    Melt butter in a pan and add shredded Kataifi dough to it. Stir repeatedly until it becomes golden brown. Then, remove it from the heat, add tahini, pistachio butter, and mix well.
  2. Stuff the Qatayef

    Grab your Qatayef and put 1 tbsp of the Kataifi stuffing. Fold it and pinch the sides to make sure it is sealed well.
  3. Bake or Deep Fry

    You can either deep fry the Qatayef until golden brown. Or you can bake them by arranging them in a cookie sheet, brushing them with oil, and baking them at 180 until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Finish and Serve

    Once your Qatayef is ready, dip them in the simple syrup while hot, set them aside, then drizzle with melted dark chocolate and chopped pistachios.
