Chickpea Fries

2 cups canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 tbsp cornstarch
¼ cup water
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp thyme
Salt to taste
Sesame seeds to garnish

  1. Blend Ingredients

    Combine canned chickpeas, cornstarch, water, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, cumin, red pepper flakes, and thyme in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Shape the Fries

    Shape the mixture into fries-like shapes on a parchment-lined baking tray. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  3. Bake the Chickpea Fries

    Now, bake your vegan fries at 200°C for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Enjoy with tahini dipping sauce or any other one you like.
