Ramadan Recipe: Cheeseburger Rice Bowl

This easy-to-make Cheeseburger Rice Bowl is a wonderful dish to break your fast. It is notorious, filling, and packed with delicious flavors. The key here is the topping sauce which is a replica of a Big Mac sauce. It is sweet and tangy and thus goes perfectly with the beef and rice.

- 1 small white onion, finely chopped

- ½ cup short-grain rice
- ½ cup
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt to taste
Rice
- ½ iceberg lettuce, chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- ½ red onion, chopped
- Shredded cheddar cheese
Salad
- ½ red onion, chopped
- 5 pickles, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp pickle juice
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard

- Prepare the Rice
تم نسخ الرابطWash both kinds of rice and soak in hot water for at least 15 minutes. Strain, stir in a heated oiled pot for 2 minutes, add salt and water, cover, and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Cook the Beef
تم نسخ الرابطIn a hot oiled pan, sauté the white onion until translucent with salt and pepper. Add the beef and cook well breaking the meat apart occasionally.
- Make the Salad

- Make the Sauce
