Miss Universe 2023: Miss Nicaragua Wins the Crown

Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua has been crowned Miss Universe 2023, which took place on Saturday night in El Salvador’s capital, San Salvador.

Meanwhile, Antonia Porsild of Thailand placed as first runner-up, and Moraya Wilson of Australia was crowned the second runner-up at the 72nd edition of the renowned global pageant.
Palacios, a 23-year-old TV host and model, made history as the first-ever Miss Universe from her country.
The winners of 84 countries' national pageants competed at this year's Miss Universe.
Miss Universe 2023 was judged by a panel including model Halima Aden, TV personality Carson Kressley, TikTok influencer Avani Gregg, and two former Miss Universe winners; Janelle Commissiong, and Iris Mittenaere.
