When thinking of royalty, we get big names on our mind such as His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid, Queen Rania, or His Highness King Salman Al Saud and tend to forget the younger royals. However, there are many millennial royals out there Here is a list of Middle East’s millennial royals.

Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein

Hussein bin Abdullah is named after his grandfather, King Hussein bin Talal. The crown prince is the eldest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah. Prince Hussein attended Georgetown University in Washington DC to study for a degree in international history. He also upped his military skills, graduating from the UK’s Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

Morocco’s Crown Prince Moulay

Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan is named after his grandfather, King Hassan II. He is the first and only son of King Mohammed VI and Princess Lalla Salma. He didn’t attend private schools like many royals and also has an interest in studying aviation, breaking ties with his dad who studied law. At just 14 he was the youngest participant at the One Planet Summit in France, earning him the respect of the global community.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

The Dubai crown prince is the second son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, and Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE. He is popularly known as “Fazza”. Fazza writes poetry and shares some of this work on social media. Some of his poems have even been turned into songs. He loves outdoor activities and is regularly seen hiking, zip-lining and jet-skiing.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani of Qatar

He has an MBA from Harvard University and can speak fluent French, English and Arabic. He is the former captain of the Qatar Equestrian team and was also the chairman of Qatar’s winning bid to stage the 2022 Fifa World Cup.

Princess Iman bint Abdullah of Jordan

Princess Iman bint Abdullah is the second child and eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan. She is a 42nd-generation direct descendant of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Sheikha Maitha bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

Sheikha Maitha is one of the daughters of the ruler of Dubai, She is a Karate and Taekwondo athlete, and has represented the UAE in the 2006 Asian Games where she won a silver medal at the women’s Karate event.
